The latest version of ODTONE has just been released. Besides the integration of bug fixes provided by contributors worldwide, enhancements were added in terms of new and better LINK SAPs (both for Windows and Linux), a new C# library for the MIH Protocol, facilitated compiling mechanisms and a document revision. Here is a detailed list of the changes:

  •     Provision of extended support Linux and Windows IEEE 802.11 Link SAPs.
  •     Provision of extended support Linux Ethernet Link SAP.
  •     Provision of a C# MIH Protocol library.
  •     Update of the DHCP MIH-User to the last version of ISC's DHCP (4.2.5).
  •     Extended support for the MIH Registration signaling added.
  •     Added CMake build support.
  •     Provision of *.deb packages.
  •     Several bug-fixes.
  •     ODTONE documentation revision.

The scientific ranking developed by the University of Leiden (CWTS) positions the University of Aveiro as number 133 in scientific production in all the areas, the best portuguese university for research. For Science and Engineering, the University is positioned as number 69 in Europe.

Today, Vitor Jesus finished his PhD thesis, with the title "Service Building In Dense Service Provider Environments". The thesis discussion, led by Dr. Edmundo Monteiro and Dr. Maria João Nicolau, was lively and interesting!

The ATNoG IRTF draft on "ICN Management Considerations" (http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-corujo-icn-mgmt-00) was just presented at the 86th IETF in Orlando, by Kostas Pentikousis, co-author of the draft.

Daniel Corujo and Carlos Guimarães represented ATNoG at the General Meeting of the OFELIA research project in Trent, Italy. ATNoG's current status of the work regarding EDOBRA(http://atnog.av.it.pt/content/ofelia-edobra) was presented.

ATNOG is present in strenght at the annual Inovation workshop of PT-Inovação. Diogo Gomes, João Paulo Barraca, Daniel Corujo, Carlos Gonçalves, Ricardo Machado and Rui Aguiar were present in the workshop, where three projects developed inside ATNOG were presented, associated with Media, Cloud and Network Control.
