Veridiano Silva concludes his MSc thesis today, with a public presentation at 16h00 in room 327 in DETI. His thesis is called "Soluções Wireless/VoIP para Redes Comunitárias", and has been supervised by Prof. Manuel de Oliveira Duarte.
Rui Aguiar participated in the final panel on the Future Internet Assembly in Ghent, on the 17th of December, discussing on privacy aspects on future networks. The debate included Ian Brown, Oxford, Karen Sollins, MIT, and Leslei Daigle, ISOC.
Diogo Gomes participated in this year's IEEE GLOBECOM held in Miami, Florida. Besides participation in the conference, Diogo presented the paper entitled "XMPP based Context Management Architecture" in the 4th IEEE Workshop on Enabling the Future Service-Oriented Internet: Towards Socially-Aware Networks.
